Leggo My Lego

In an attempt at high chicanery, 9-year old Staten Island student Patrick Timoney attempted to sneak his weapon of choice into his school. While his evil plans for mass murder at this elementary school have not yet been fully uncovered, it’s obvious from his weapon, pictured above, that he could have caused some pretty serious damage to any lego persons or structures in the vicinity of those hallowed halls of learning.

When questioned about this serious breach of school protocol, Patrick said…

“[The gun] was so little,” the boy told WNBC. “I wouldn’t really think that the principal would cause a lot of commotion just for a little gun.”

In all seriousness, the boy was taken to the principal’s office and threatened with suspension because the school has a “no-tolerance” policy against toy weapons. The toy, as shown in the above picture, is a lego policeman with a machine gun, obviously no threat to anyone believing it to be real.

The boy’s father is a retired police officer and commented that he had previously dealt with suspects using imitation weapons in committing crimes. He said, however, that this was completely different considering the PINKY-SIZED gun in question.

In the end, the toy was confiscated by Principal Evelyn Mastroianni and a conference was held with Patrick’s parents. Fortunately, no further action has been taken against the boy.

Of course, now you know the boy is just destined for a life of crime and hard drugs because of his flouting of the rules in this most heinous manner.
