When Nature Calls

I don’t know about you but when nature calls, I’ve never really had the desire to eat a delicious meal while taking care of that call. Well, at the above pictured restaurant, you can satisfy your hunger while lounging upon a designer porcelain throne.

At the Marton Theme Restaurant, you can also eat your meals off plates and bowls shaped like western toilet seats and Japanese “squat” toilets. The idea has been so successful that owner Eric Wang opened a second and bigger branch.  “Most customers think the more disgusting and exaggerated, the funnier the dining experience is,” he says.

The most popular orders are curry hot pot, curry chicken rice and chocolate ice cream because “they look the most like the real thing” Wang says. Prices average between $6 and $10 American dollars for a meal, including soup and ice cream.

You husbands out there, if you’ve done something really stupid, you might want to take the wife to this place, ’cause really, what difference would it make if the you-kn0w-what hits the fan because, hey, that’s what this place is all about, right?

I believe I do have one additional pertinent statement…I sincerely hope the presence of so many toilets doesn’t mean that the restaurant doesn’t have an actual restroom, if you know what I mean.
