Some youngsters in England may have unwittingly had a wee bit o’ fun with users of Google’s Google Earth program. Whether or not the prank was intentional is now beside the point.

The pupils of Sutton Grammar School, Surrey, apparently arranged a load of bricks on their school’s roof to form the word “c**k”. You’ll have to use your imagination to decipher the two hidden letters and I’m sure that won’t be a problem. This stunt was apparently pulled years ago but was just now discovered by school officials. The perpetrators have since gone on to practice their grammar skills at other fine institutions of learning.

One official commented, “It was a light-hearted act. But I’d prefer it wasn’t there or if it wasn’t rude.” My question is, did the janitor or maintenance man never have the opportunity or necessity to go on the roof for anything or did they just take it as free advertising for their favorite local tavern?
